 What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?

A Psychic connects to your energy, or to your aura, where they can tap into your past, present and future. They can assist you by intuitively providing you with some guidance to questions you may have about your relationships, career, or day-to-day issues. The connection is only between you and the psychic. 

A Medium is the “middle person” between you and spirit (those on the other side), like a triangle conversation with the medium, the spirit and with you (the client/sitter). The Medium is the reporter who will give you the evidential information that is being communicated by Spirit.

How does the Medium connect with Spirit? 

A Medium will tune in or quiet their mind and allow the information from Spirit to come through their senses, through their 'Clairs' (seeing, hearing, feeling, knowing, tasting, and smelling).  Every Medium  has their own style with how they connect and perceive the information, as well as how they deliver the information.  For me, I will see and hear their communication in my mind, I will feel emotions that were experienced by your loved one in Spirit, or I may feel medically what they may have experienced in their life. Sometimes the information will come all together balled up in multiple senses and sometimes the information is so very subtle. Spirit will also use my experiences in my life to help me communicate to you and sometimes it is just a knowing of what they are communicating, or they may physically have me feel something to communicate information.  

What is an Evidential Medium?

An Evidential Medium will bring forward information from your loved ones in spirit where you the client/sitter would only know or would be validated by someone else. And importantly, the information is not provided from the client, the Evidential Medium’s job is not to fish for answers from their client/sitter but, bring forward to you (the client) the information provided by spirit. There are questions asked by the Medium to the client if they can validate the information coming from Spirit by only providing a “yes", "no", or "I don’t know”.  All Medium's should be with the utmost ethics! Trust your gut if it doesn't feel right to you!  Please read the book, "The Medium Explosion" by Robert Ginsberg.

Do they see me when I am taking a shower? 

From what I have learned is no, they do not "see" us in the shower. But I do know from my readings they are aware energetically and spiritually of what we do, for an example: driving the car and a specific song comes on that reminds you of them, or you may have gone on a trip and they were aware you talked about them, or the the quiet time you spend talking to your passed loved one or asking them questions.

Can anyone connect with their loved ones in spirit without a Medium?

Absolutely Yes!  We are all able to connect, we All have the ability to tune into those subtle feelings and thoughts, we all have that intuition or knowing.  Sometimes it is just opening your heart and believing those signs, thoughts, the dreams that come to you.  There are many books available to show you how.                                                                                                                                 Keep thinking and talking to them….it is such a beautiful connection!
